The Girl Scouts of the USA has confirmed that it will not be selling last year’s popular “Raspberry Rally” cookies for the upcoming 2024 season. The organization wants to discourage buyers from resorting to the resale market to purchase the raspberry cookies.
Unlike other flavors that are sold in person, the raspberry cookies introduced in the 2023 season were only available online. Girl Scout cookies are typically sold from January through March and early April each year.
The new raspberry cookies had the same shape and chocolate coating as the classic “Thin Mint” cookies, but with raspberry flavor instead of mint. They quickly gained popularity among consumers.
A spokesperson for the Girl Scouts of the USA said, “While Raspberry Rally was extremely popular last year, we are taking a pause this season to prioritize supplying our classic varieties.”
Earlier this year, branches of the national organization confirmed that the raspberry cookie will not be included in the 2024 lineup.

After the new flavor became popular and sold out, boxes of the raspberry cookies started being resold on platforms like eBay at inflated prices, which upset the Girl Scouts organization.
The Girl Scouts of the USA expressed their disappointment with unauthorized resales, stating, “When cookies are purchased through an unauthorized third-party seller, Girl Scout troops are deprived of valuable experience and, more importantly, proceeds.”
