World Wrestling Entertainment star Bray Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, died unexpectedly at the age of 36, according to WWE. The cause of death was not mentioned in the WWE’s announcement. Wyatt, also known as “The Fiend,” was a former WWE champion and had a memorable presence in the wrestling world. WWE extended its condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

Wyatt came from a wrestling family, with his grandfather Robert Deroy Windham (Blackjack Mulligan), father, and two uncles (Barry and Kendall Windham) all being involved in WWE. Wyatt’s grandfather also had a football career, playing for UTEP and having preseason action with the New York Jets. Wyatt’s last televised performance was at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Wyatt’s sudden passing is a great loss to the WWE community, as he had become a defining superstar of his generation with his captivating performances and in-ring presence.
