Israeli Airstrike Kills Top Hamas Weapons Developer, Officials Say

An official from Hamas involved in the group’s rocket arsenal was killed in an Israeli airstrike, according to officials.

Mohsen Abu Zina, the target of the attack, was identified as the head of weapons and industries for Hamas by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The IDF described Abu Zina as a key figure in the development of strategic weapons and rockets used by Hamas militants.

According to IDF reports, there have been more than 7,000 rocket launches from Hamas into Israel since Oct. 7, resulting in numerous casualties.

Following the attacks, the IDF conducted retaliatory airstrikes and a ground invasion of Gaza, resulting in a significant number of deaths, as reported by the Palestinian enclave’s Hamas-run health ministry.

Additionally, IDF officials revealed the discovery of a Hamas terrorist cell in Gaza, which was planning to target IDF forces with anti-tank missiles.

The officials confirmed that the cell was struck by an aircraft, resulting in the deaths of several terrorists.
